Tokyo 2020: Samuel Takyi loses semi-final fight, wins bronze for Ghana

Ghanaian boxer, Samuel Takyi has won bronze for Ghana in the men’s boxing featherweight division after 29years.

The boxer won this for his country after losing his fight to American Duke Ragan in the ongoing Tokyo Olympics.

The 20-year-old defeated Colombian fighter David Ceiber in the quarter-finals.

He joins Clement Quartey-1960 Silver, Eddie Blay-1964 Bronze, and Prince Amartey-1972 Bronze as only men to ever win Ghana an Olympic medal.
