The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced Thomas Teye Partey as the winner of the Ghana Footballer of the Year award for the third time in his career. The midfielder, who currently plays for Arsenal in the Premier League, received the prestigious award at the seventh edition of the Ghana Football Awards held at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre on June 14, 2025.

Partey’s impressive performance in the 2024-2025 season, where he led Arsenal to the semifinals of the UEFA Champions League, earned him the top spot ahead of Antoine Semenyo of Bournemouth and Inaki Williams of Athletic Bilbao. This win marks Partey’s third Ghana Footballer of the Year award, following his previous victories in 2017 and 2018 while playing for Atlético Madrid in La Liga.
