Russian casualties increase in Bakhmut

Ukrainian army brigades defending Bakhmut’s southern flank.

The soldiers have spent months facing both regular Russian army forces, and prisoners recruited by the Wagner private military group who have swarmed their trenches in droves. Troops say Russian casualties far outweigh theirs, but the enemy is deploying new techniques to try to seize the city and surrounding countryside.

Ukraine’s forces are outgunned and outnumbered, but on a  hillside to the south, there is the anti-tank group from the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade.

Neither the Russian nor Ukrainian armies release official casualty figures for Bakhmut, or elsewhere, but the mostly abandoned city has become a slaughter house.

Officially, Ukraine estimates that for every one of its soldiers killed, Russia loses seven. Earlier this week, Russia said it had killed more than 220 Ukrainian service members in a 24-hour period in the battle for Bakhmut. None of these numbers can be independently verified.

The men have been fighting for more than a year now, and they say the Russians are evolving.

Nana Ama Mcbrown’s move to Media General’s Onua TV has made some staff of Despite Media upset that the entertainer left their company

The TV Goddess was criticized for her decision to quit Despite Media by Kwame Nkrumah Tikesie and Ohene Nana Kwame Amo, hosts of the morning program “Ade Akye Abia” on Okay FM, after her departure. In a similar vein, Ola Michael, a presenter at Neat FM, Abena Moet, and others voiced their disappointment over McBrown’s decision to leave UTV and join another media outlet

However, their coworker Afia Pokua, also known as Vim Lady, disagrees with them. She worries that the critique of the TV Goddess could damage their organization’s reputation.

She took to Facebook to express her worry and made her argument

“A job is a contract to exchange SKILLS/TALENT for SALARY. Nobody is doing anyone any favor by employing them. A contract too can be repudiated or abrogated at any time

The same way, me, Abeiku Santana, Kofi Kum Bilson and Obiyaa left Multimedia to join Despite Media, someone can leave and join another company.

It’s just a job. The OWNERS OF DESPITE MEDIA are okay with McBrown but the disciples are always shouting to gain favor from the bosses. Did McBrown not increase our viewership too? Or did you give her the acting talent too?

DO WE SEE FOOTBALL TEAMS ATTACKING PLAYERS WHEN THEY CHANGE TEAMS? My only advice to McBrown is, there are bad colleagues and imperfect systems everywhere so stop granting interviews about your former employersTake it from someone who has spent over 20 years in this industry and just Shine Your Eyes and Enjoy Your New Job because “emmre yenni nka so”.

This attack by some Despite Media workers is not cool and gives us a BAD CORPORATE IMAGE” she said
