Real Madrid knock Liverpool out of the champions league

REAL MADRID 1-0 LIVERPOOL (6-2 aggregate): The Reds were unable to claw back a three-goal deficit at the Santiago Bernabeu as they were knocked out  from the Champions League.

Liverpool failed to produce a comeback and were kicked out from the champions league  eliminated with a 1-0 defeat at Real Madrid’s home grounds.

Real Madrid scored a  goal to crash any hopes of a late Liverpool come-back as Karim Benzema tapped into an open net with just over 10 minutes remaining.

Real Madrid advances to the quarter final stage of the competition and await their next opponent.
