Takoradi Kidnapping: Second opinion proves woman was not pregnant; 3 arrested
The Director of Public Affairs of the Ghana Police Service, ACP Kwesi Ofori says the second opinion on the controversial case of the alleged kidnapping and pregnancy of Josephine Panyin Mensah proves she was never pregnant.
The family of Josephine Panyin Mensah demanded access to her to conduct an independent test to prove that she was pregnant.
The family has however been disputing police reports that the woman was never pregnant.
But ACP Kwesi Ofori in an interview on Neat FM said in order to seek clarification on the earlier report by the police and the Western Regional Minister, Josephine Panyin Mensah was taken to Afia Nkwanta Hospital, the biggest hospital in Western Region for another examination.
Base on experts’ opinion and medical doctors’ examination, the police can conclude she was never pregnant and has not been pregnant.
Three according to him have been arrested to assist further investigation.
