Video: Ga Traditional Women Storm Despite Media Over Mxbel’s ‘Nai we’ Fraud Allegation
Some women from the Ga traditional area stormed Despite Media in Accra this afternoon to announce their displeasure on some allegations leveled against them by Mzbel.
It could be recalled that Mzbel once said on UTV’s United Showbiz that the Chief priest of James Town a suburb of Accra, ‘Nai wei’ has defrauded her of an amount of GHC2,000.
The songstress explaining how it happened said she went to ‘Nai we’ to solve a fracas between her and Afia Schwarzenegger. According to Mzbel, ‘Nai wei took an amount of GHC2,000 to help her solve her problem but nothing was done about it.
She went ahead to say that anytime she makes an attempt to go for her money, the people at the priest’s palace tells her he has been admitted at the hospital. For these reasons Mzbel pronounced the ‘Nai wei as fraud priest.
This seems not to sit well with the women at James Town and the Ga Traditional council as they storm Despite Media and channeled their anger on management as according to them, Mzbel has tarnished their hard earned reputation through their medium.
Clad in red and white with some bottles of Schnapp and eggs, the women were seen performing rituals in the middle of the road.
