Presidency Wont Respond To Martin Amidu Again- Eugene Arhin

The Director of Communications at the Presidency, Eugene Arhin has indicated that government will not respond again to the ongoing discussion of the special prosecutor, Martin Amidu.

In a Facebook post sighted by mynewsroongh, Mr Arhin stated that the statement put out by the secretary to the President, Nana Asante Bediatuo will be the only statement from the Presidency on the matter.

Martin Amidu resigned as Special Prosecutor over claims of interference from President Akufo-Addo, non-payment of salaries, amongst others.

President Akufo-Addo subsequently accepted the resignation, and also refuted claims of interference made against him.

Speaking in an interview with Kasapa News, the Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah who doubles as the Member of Parliament for Ofoase Ayirebi in the Eastern region was also baffled that Mr Martin Amidu accused government of not resourcing his office.
