In a TV interview on AdomTV’s Badwam, the former President maintained that the media was very hard on his government when it comes to tackling corruption but has loosen its belt towards the NPP government.

Mr. Mahama responding to the issue of corruption said the media has given free ticket to the New Patriotic Party when it comes to corruption

Mr. Mahama argued that when it comes to dealing with corruption, it is easier to prosecute the corrupt in opposition than the corrupt in government. He therefore challenged President Akufo Addo to prosecute the corrupt in his government.

But John Mahama says he will put some of the blame on the Media as he were hard on the NDC government but has loosen their belt on the NPP government when it comes to tackling the issue of corruption.

The flag bearer explaining further urged the media to channel the same pressure and energy mounted on them to the NPP to help fight corruption
