Obrafour Sues Drake $10Million for alleged Copyright infringement
Ghanian hip-life artist Obrafour has sued Canadian rapper Drake for alleged copyright infringement.
Drake is being sued for using a sample from Obrafour’s song “Oye Ohene (Remix)” in his tune “Calling My Name.”
According to the lawsuit, Drake requested permission to sample the music via email and was turned down. He did, however, go ahead and release the track, which was eventually featured on an album.
Obrafour is however requesting $10million as compensation
