We’ll Work Together To Address Common Problems – US President Elect to Akufo-Addo

United States of America President-elect, Joe Biden, has expressed optimism of working together with Ghan’s President Elect, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, as they both take office despite the world’s challenges.

In a brief letter to Akufo-Addo, Biden said the work ahead of them is enormous, however, he is certain a great deal of collaboration between world leaders will go a long way to surmount some of the problems facing the world now.

“It is my great honor to have been elected the next president of the United States, and I understand just how much work lies ahead of us,” the 47th vice-president of America stated in the letter

He added “Vice President-elect Harris and I will take office at a time of great global challenges – from the coronavirus to climate change – that transcend borders and require international cooperation. We look forward to working with you and your government on addressing the common problems facing our countries and our peoples.

“Thank you again, President Akufo-Addo. I look forward to future dialogue.”

Both President-elects are expected to be sworn in this month with President Akufo-Addo’s slated for an earlier date which is January 7 and Biden’s on January 20.
