NDC to challenge election results in court on Dec. 30

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) and its Presidential Candidate for the 2020 general elections, John Mahama will be going to court on 30 December to seek redress of what they have described as a flawed election.

A member of the legal team of the Umbrella party, Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor, said all is set for the election petition hearing.

“So somebody has to complain that the law has not been complied with and that is what the NDC is doing. So we will go to court, we have made that clear.

“Certainly by Wednesday all these matters will be placed before the court. We are suing the presidential as well.” Dafeamekpor revealed on Joy FM’s news analysis programme, Newsfile, on Saturday.
