C/R: Girl 22, Commits Suicide After Pastors And Family Members Accused Her Of Being a Witch (See Photos)

22-year-old lady Judith Appiah Kubi, known as Tenewaa of Assin Dawomako in the Assin South District has committed suicide after her pastors and family members accused her of being a witch.

Tenewaa’s family pastors, Opoku Agyemang and Pastor Emma convinced her family that the deceased is the cause of her family’s woes.

Information gathered by Angel Fm’s Kwame Owusu Asante Shadrack indicates that she was stripped naked and matched on the street of Assin Dawomako some years ago in an attempt by the pastors to flee her from the supposed demon.

The deceased mother, Faustina Akyie a.k.a sister Akyie threw her out of the house after being convinced her daughter is a witch.

Out of depression and stigmatization, the deceased dropped out of school, left the town of Assin Fosu and became a street girl. Her uncle Kofi Osei popularly known as Agya Sei later adopted her and put her in an apprenticeship.

The deceased on Monday 11th January, 2020 in an attempt to reconcile with her mother in a telephone conversation, the mother told her she will inform her landlord the deceased is a witch so he evict her from his house else all his businesses will collapse.

Out of pain, the deceased committed suicide by drinking weedicide (gramoquat).

Judith died today, Friday 15th January, 2020 at Cape Coast Teaching Hospital after St. Francis Xavier Hospital at Assin Fosu transferred her for further treatment.

Some NPP MP’s made it to Parliament as early as 3am to occupy their seat ahead of their first sitting of the 8th Parliament.

The NPP MPs clad in white arrived early in Parliament to occupy the Majority side of the House.

It will be recall that the NDC MPs did something similar for the inauguration of the 8th parliament and to elect who becomes the next speaker of the 8th parliament.

Late Rawlings To Be Buried At The Military Cemetery- Funeral Committee

The Funeral Planning Committee for the late former President Jerry John Rawlings have settled on the Military cemetery in Accra to bury him on the 27th of January, 2021.

The decision of the place of burial was taken by the funeral planning committee after a long hours of deliberations on the preparations and program outline for the funeral.

The funeral arrangement had initially been scheduled for December 20, 2020 before it was postponed indefinitely.

Former President Jerry John Rawlings died on Thursday, November 12, at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra after a short illness.

Addressing the press after the meeting, the Spokesperson for the Funeral Planning Committee, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah revealed that, the funeral arrangements will begin from the 22nd and 23rd at Anglo by the Anglo state as they will hold events to celebrate the life of the late president.

He stressed that, from the 24th to the 27th January, 2021, there will be series of events that will lead to the final funeral rites and the burial at the Military cemetery in Accra.

Mr Oppong Nkrumah noted that, there committee has put in place measure to help with the compliance of the COVID-19 protocols which he says there will be heavy security presence to help with the compliance thereby urging the public to adhere to the protocols on that day of funeral.

Video: Abeku Santana Begs Akufo-Addo To Release Bulldog

Ghanaian Radio presenter Abeiku Santana has begged President Akufo-Addo to forgive Bulldog on his claim that President Akufo-Addo will not finish his four year term.

The artist manager was reportedly arrested by the National Investigative Bereau (NIB) following the comment he made about President Akufo-Addo.

Bulldog on his Mensgold comment made on UTV’s United Showbiz before his arrest said “We’ll get our monies back else Nana Addo will run; he won’t finish his 4 years. I’m telling you. He won’t finish his 4 years,”

In a video sighted by mynewsroom.com, Abeku Santana was seen on his knees pleading with his excellency Akufo-Addo and the National security to forgive him.

The host of Ekwaesodwoodwoo on OK FM, in his plea said Bulldog is such a ‘Child’ to make that statement and that reason the gentleman of the land should forgive him.

The renowned broadcaster also asked Bulldog to be mindful of his comments when all is said and done.

Video: Sakawa Boy Rushed To Hospital After His Mysterious Snake Was Killed At Kasoa

Alleged Sakawa boy has been rushed to the hospital after Hawkers on the Kasoa toll booth stretch killed his mysterious Snake that came out from his car.

Reporting the news on Angel FM, Odehyie Kwaku Aseidu narrated that the hawkers’ attention was focused on the snake after coming out from the car.

Big stones, sticks and blocks were used in killing the snake.

The hawkers explaining further said three men which they believe to be ‘sakawa boys’ came looking for the snake after it was killed but could not find.

Odehyie Kwaku Asiedu reported that information reaching him has it that one of the ‘Sakawa boys’ has been rushed to the Korlebu teaching hospital after the snake was beheaded by the hawkers.

Adding that this is not the first time such incident is happening on the kasoa stretch as the owner of the snake came for it the first such incident happened.

The marriage between herself and husband, Maxwell Mensah has been one of the most envious celebrity marriages.

When asked whether divorce scares her as it is perceived most celebrity marriages do not last, she replied yes. “Yeah I’m human, so I sometimes get scared of it”

E/R: Fake Abortion Doctor Jailed 4 Years

Suhum circuit court presided over by her Lordship Diana Adu Asare has jailed a fake Doctor after performing series of abortion without license at Suhum Community hospital.

Suhum police commander, Joseph Owusu confirming the news to Angel FM’s Francis Armah Frimpong, said the 41-year-old fake Doctor had operated for 10 years.

The fake Doctor David Darko was apprehended after several complaint was filed against him at the Suhum police station over his action

He has however been sentenced to 4 years imprisonment by the Suhum circuit.

Video: Fire Ravages Dagombaline In Kumasi

Fire has swept through some wooden structures serving as makeshift shelters at the Dagombaline slum community in Kumasi in the Ashanti region.

The cause of the fire is immediately unknown, however, personnel from the fire service have managed to contain the fire from spreading to other wooden structure.

At least 300 wooden structures have been burnt down leaving occupant of the structures in the slum homeless.

The majority of the wooden structures affected could have been saved if fire personnel at the scene had easy access to the area of the fire.

The slum area is predominantly occupied by head potters and scrap dealers some of whom are seen trying to salvage properties.

This is not the first time one of the biggest slums in the Ashanti region has been gutted by fire.

In March 2020, more than 500 slum dwellers at in the same area were rendered homeless after fire swept through their wooden structures.

Meanwhile, the Manhyia Divisional Police Commander, ACP Kwaku Buah told Kasapa News investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire.

Just In: Bulldog Detained For Threatening President Akufo-Addo (Watch Video)

Shatta Wale’s manager Bulldog has been reportedly detained by the National Intelligent Bureau (NIB) over his claim that President Akufo-Addo will not complete his second term if he does not pay Menzgold customers.

Appearing on United ShowBiz on UTV hosted by Nana Ama Mcbrown, the outspoken artist manager in a heated argument with Afia Schwarzenegger is reportedly have said “As for the locked up money, it will come. If not like Nana Addo will run. He’ll not finish his second term, I’m telling you, ein no go finish ein 4years”

Confirming his arrest on Accra based OKFM, Musician RexOmar said Bulldog’s arrest is a bit skeptical as the order was from the Presidency.

Omar explaining further said Bulldog is in the custody of the BNI but the BNI even do not know the cause of his arrest.

Bosomtwe MP’s Vision 100 Engineers In A Decade On Course

Member of Parliament for Bosomtwe Constituency in the Ashanti Region Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum’s vision of producing at least 100 engineers in his constituency within the period of 10 years on course.

As an Educationist, he has been helping brilliant but needy students in his constituency to pursue education to the higher height.

Dr. Adutwum on Monday bid farewell to the first 30 students from the Bosomtwe constituency who have gained admission at the University of Mines and Technology   (UMAT) at Tarkwa to pursue various courses in Engineering.

The excitement on their faces and that of the parents who had assembled in front of his Constituency Office building was palpable.

Dr. Adutwum on his Facebook page said their tuition is fully funded. “They are going to pursue various courses in Engineering fully funded by me”
