22-year-old lady Judith Appiah Kubi, known as Tenewaa of Assin Dawomako in the Assin South District has committed suicide after her pastors and family members accused her of being a witch.
Tenewaa’s family pastors, Opoku Agyemang and Pastor Emma convinced her family that the deceased is the cause of her family’s woes.

Information gathered by Angel Fm’s Kwame Owusu Asante Shadrack indicates that she was stripped naked and matched on the street of Assin Dawomako some years ago in an attempt by the pastors to flee her from the supposed demon.

The deceased mother, Faustina Akyie a.k.a sister Akyie threw her out of the house after being convinced her daughter is a witch.
Out of depression and stigmatization, the deceased dropped out of school, left the town of Assin Fosu and became a street girl. Her uncle Kofi Osei popularly known as Agya Sei later adopted her and put her in an apprenticeship.

The deceased on Monday 11th January, 2020 in an attempt to reconcile with her mother in a telephone conversation, the mother told her she will inform her landlord the deceased is a witch so he evict her from his house else all his businesses will collapse.
Out of pain, the deceased committed suicide by drinking weedicide (gramoquat).
Judith died today, Friday 15th January, 2020 at Cape Coast Teaching Hospital after St. Francis Xavier Hospital at Assin Fosu transferred her for further treatment.
