The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of 3Music Awards, and a supporter of the NDC, Sadiq Abdulai Abu has challenged Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie over his claims that President Akufo-Addo solved dumsor.
Sarkodie yesterday threw his support behind President Akufo-Addo through his new song “Happy Day” featuring the reigning VGMA Artist of the year Kuami Eugene.
He rapped about how he criticized the Ex-President John Dramani Mahama’s administration over dumsor, inflation among others.
According to him, under NPP led Akufo-Addo government, he is enjoying free electricity and his children will also have the opportunity to benefit from free senior high school.
For this reason, the SarkNation president suggested Akufo-Addo deserves another term “NANA TOASO” he said
Responding to this on twitter, Baba Sadiq wrote “It’s ignorance for anyone to suggest the Nana Addo led administration solved Dumsor. When and how did they solve Dumsor? Such ignorance can’t be allowed to fester. By all means take your endorsement fees, but don’t hoodwink your fans into believing your ignorance”
Checkout some of his tweets below:
Sarkodie’s ignorance on topical issues is becoming problematic and unbecoming of a big talent. He is always expressing his ignorance on issues. He can’t be a half wit (apologies to Gabby Asare- Otchere Darko) all the time. By now, he’s got to be elevating the narratives. https://t.co/611WJ3GFsl
