Former Municipal Chief Executive Officer for Obuasi Municipality, Mr. Richard Ofori Agyemang Boadi has challenged President Akufo-Addo’s Ministerial appointment.

Appointing ministers whom he will work with in his second term, President Akufo-Addo appointed Mavis Hawa Koomson as the minister-designate for Fisheries and Aquaculture.

Ahead of the vetting of ministers appointed by the President, some Ghanaians have express dismay over her appointment.

Adding his opinion to this, the former MCE speaking to Francis Alban on the Morning Star on Monday monitored by mynewsroomgh.com argued that the former  Minister of Special Development Initiatives do not qualify to be appointed as Minister.

His comment comes after the Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya East On Monday 20th July 2020 in the company of “her boys” pulled a gun and fired shots in an area where people had gathered to partake in the  voter registration exercise.

When asked on what evidence base is he rejecting Hawa Koomson, He replied “We don’t need evidence to prove Hawa Koomson is Unfit for Ministerial appointment”

Mr. Agyemang explaining further said for someone to pull a gun on unarmed innocent Ghanaians and  be given appointment by the President is something to be questioned.

According to him, God never spoke to the Prophetess as she said but acted based on her own directions.

The MC for the annual Worship and Thanksgiving service which got Prophetess Cecilia Marfo snatched a microphone from Gospel Musician Joyce Blessing has said he was scared of the gospel artist reaction after the incident happened.

In a viral video, the prophetess was seen snatching a microphone from the gospel artist as she tells her to go back to her husband.

“If you will listen to me again, I called you in Grace for if you have seen the Grace, then know the life you hold does not belong to you.  I’ve made you a Queen listen and go back to your husband- said the prophetess as she speaks in tongues “

This viral video has got some Ghanaians talking as they believe Cecilia Marfo’s action has caused the gospel artist a disgrace asking why the organizers of the programme could not protect her.

Responding to this on Me Car mu FM hosted by Zionfelix, the Master of Ceremony for the said programme at Unity Park in Kumasi, Kwame OB Nartey said he tried to stop the Prophetess from disgracing Joyce Blessing saying what she did was uncalled for, sends an apology to Joyce Blessing

A 39yr old truck Pusher has met his untimely death when a trailer vehicle with registration number GR-1778-11 crushed him to death at mankessim in the central region.

Eye witness account say the deceased, best known as TALLER tried to drive his truck in between a sprinter bus and a trailer.

The sprinter upon seeing the danger tried to swerve to the other side of the road to save the situation but the trailer lost control and crushed him to death.

He reportedly died at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra on Thursday

Dr. Amoako Tuffour was very active during the J. A .Kufour led administration as he served as National Coordinator of the School Feeding Programme.

Addressing the media, Deputy Majority leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin again accused that, the NDC MPs are seeking to compromise the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin to do the bidding of the opposition.

Responding to this on Accra based OKFM monitored mynewsroomgh.com, the deputy minority whip in parliament and Member of parliament for Banda, Ahmed Ibrahim said the minority has no intention and will not be Obstructionists In Parliament.

He argued that the NDC who accepted to be the minority in parliament based on the independent candidate  decision has given the NPP majority the maximum cooperation since parliament started work and so has it be.

Adding that Ghanaians want both side to work together as said by President Akufo-Addo therefore if something does not sit well with the majority, there is the need to dialogue to find solution, saying the Majority press conference was needless.

24-year-old man Bright Ofori popularly known as T.I has killed his friend, Muniru Mohammed Haddi, 35 over ¢10 at Assin Awisam in the Assin Fosu Municipality of the Central Region.

The Assemblyman for the area Hon. Ayuba Andoh told Kwame Owusu Asante Shadrack that, the suspect Bright Ofori borrowed 20¢ from the victim and made half payment of GHC10 in about a week time.

Muniru Mohammed now deceased approached the suspect and demanded for the remaining GHC10 which resulted in a scuffle, Bright then struck the deceased with a stick. The deceased was sent to Francis Xavier Hospital for treatment and was later transferred to Cape Coast Teaching Hospital where he died.

The suspect, Bright Ofori is currently in the grips of Twifu Praso police command.

The Majority group in Parliament has accused the NDC MP’s of an agenda calculated at obstructing the composition of the appointment committee.

Addressing the media, Deputy Majority leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin accused that, the NDC MPs are seeking to compromise the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin to do the bidding of the opposition.

Afenyo-Markin furthered that, Rt. Hon Speaker Alban S.K Bagbin is known for his impartiality on both sides of the house.

However, Afenyo-Markin bemoaned that, they have no reason to doubt Alban Bagbin’s declaration of being impartial but the conduct of the NDC MP’s in the house is giving them a compelling impression of compromising the Speaker’s impartiality.

He therefore urged that, such things may affect the future conduct of business in the house if they don’t point out such correction.

Television Goddess, Empress Nana Ama Mcbrown has advised Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, popularly known as Funny Face to treat women well as we begin a new year.
