Breaking News! Missing Takoradi Girls: Two Suspects Sentenced To Death

The seven-member jury presided over the murder of four Takoradi girls have sentenced the two Nigerians to death.

The suspects, Samuel Udeotuk Wills and John Oji were charged for kidnapping and murdering Ruth, Priscilla Blessing Bentum 21, Abakah, 19, Ruth Love Quayeson, 18 and Priscilla Koranchie, 15.

The girls were captured in different lactations all in the Secondi Takoradi of the Western Region between July and December, 2018.

After almost two years, the court found the guilty of commiting a crime.

The court presided over by Justice Richard Adjei-Frimpong on Friday, March 5th, 2021 however sentenced Samuel Udeotuk Wills and John Oji to death by hanging.

Congolese Villagers Discover Mountain Full Of Gold (Watch Video)

A group of Congolese villagers is reportedly to have discovered a mountain full of gold.

In a video going viral, the Congolese villages were seen digging soil in the mountain full of gold and taken them to their homes in order to wash the dirt and extract gold.

A freelance Journalist, Ahmed Algohbary in a Twitter post wrote: A video from the Republic of the Congo documents the biggest surprise for some villagers in this country, as an entire mountain filled with gold was discovered!

They dig the soil inside the gold deposits and take them to their homes in order to wash the dirt& extract the gold.

NDC demands refund of filling fees for the presidential candidate n some parliamentary candidates.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has written to the EC to ask for refund of monies paid by their losing candidates in both Presidential and Parliamentary ahead of the supreme court ruling tomorrow.

It is in fact the law that the losing Candidates who obtained atleast 25% of the votes cast will have their filing fees refunded.  Contrary to popular opinion, the EC does not use the filing fees to organize the election.

The NDC in the images below list the number of unsuccessful candidates in the various constituencies.

They also add their presidential candidate, John Mahama and state his percentage as 47.396 which entitles him to the 100,000Gh refund of his filing fees.

Aduana Stars defender Farouk Adams arrested for killing Police Officer(Photo)

Aduana Stars defender Farouk Adams has been arrested in Dormaa Ahenkro after he hits a police officer with a car at Wamfie Road.

Mynewsroomgh.com has gathered that the Police officer, Constable Amos Maatey was on night duty together with a colleague.

He sought permission to go and buy mosquito repellent on his motorbike. While returning, he got knocked down and died instantly.

Police later found out driver of the car was defender of Aduana Stars, Farouk Adams. He was arrested and subsequently placed in custody.

According to sports Journalist Saddick Adams, Farouk’s contract with Aduana has ended but out of loyalty, decided to stay back and help the team till the end of the first round of the league because the club was struggling defensively.

We are informed informed that, he has agreed a deal with a club in the United States, has already secured his visa and was preparing to travel.

But by twist of fate, he will be arraigned before the Wamfie Magistrates Court at 9am tomorrow.

Ghanaian former professional footballer Michael Essien has lost over 1Million social media followers few hours after he publicly threw his support behind Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, & Intersex Life (LGBTQI)

Disregard Rumors About Covid-19 Vaccine -Mahama as He receive Jab

Former President John Dramani Mahama has received his first vaccination against the coronavirus.

The NDC’s flagbearer for the just ended 2020 elections took his Jab at the Police Hospital with his wife, Lordina Mahama.

Mr. Mahama in his words to Ghanaians after the vaccination said the only way the country could win the virus is to be vaccinated, therefore the need to clear any misconception about the Vaccine.

“I believe that all Ghanaians should avail themselves for the vaccine because all of us took vaccines when were growing up and it is due to these vaccines that today our children do not get all kinds of diseases like polio and smallpox among others.”

So vaccines are useful in preserving our health and so Ghanaians should disregard all these rumors. I agreed to take it publicly, so everyone would be assured that vaccines are safe”

Minority MPs On Appointment Committee Reject 3 nominees including Oppong Nkrumah

The Minority MPs on the appointment committee on March 1, 2021 voted on the ministerial nominees who have been vetted so far and have surprisingly rejected three of the Presidential nominees.

The Ranking Member on the committee and Minority leader in parliament, Haruna Idrisu has decided to reject three (3) candidates brought forward by the President out of the 30 candidates vetted so far.

Information Minister designate-Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, Minister designate for Food and agriculture, Dr Owusu Afriyie Akoto and Fisheries and Aguaculture Minster designate, Hawa Koomson have been rejected for various reasons.

Funny Face’s Stay In Psychiatric Hospital Extended As Court Adjourns Case

The Ofankor Circuit Court has extended Funny Face born Benson Nana Yaw Oduro’s stay in the Accra Psychiatric hospital by a month.

According to sources, the doctor taking care of the actor has told the court his patient was unwell, he is not of a sound mind and has been put on medication that requires enough rest, hence the extension.

The prosecutor speaking in court said the Physician to the father of three had written a letter to the police stating that the actor will be unable to appear in Court.

The case has however been adjourned to April 1.

Bawumia and Wife Also Take Covid-19 Vaccine Jab

Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has received his first vaccination against coronavirus.

The vice president together with his wife took the vaccination at the police hospital in Accra on Monday, 1st March 2021.

Dr. Bawumia before his Jab said “We are taking the vaccine today to assure the public and Ghanaians in general that it is safe to be immune to the virus”

“His Excellency the President took the lead and under his leadership and with the support of our partners, Ghana became the first country in the world to benefit from COVAX facility which was open for about 92 low and middle-income countries and Ghana is the first country to have benefited from it “

Akufo-Addo and Wife Take COVAX-Covid-19 Vaccine Jab (Photo)

President Akufo-Addo has taken his first vaccination of the COVAX Covid-19 vaccine.

He took his Jab today, March 1 2021 together with the first lady, Rebecca Akufo-Addo at the 37 Military Hospital.

President Akufo-Addo said the step is to clear all doubt about the vaccine.

“It is important to state that this vaccine is safe by being the first to have it. So everybody in Ghana should feel comfortable about taking the vaccine. It is important that everybody at the end of the days is vaccinated. That is our objective”

All the other protocols are in place until we are satisfied the virus finally disappears from Ghana-He added.

Vice-President Dr. Bawumia and his wife are also expected to take their jab later in the day.
