Ayarika’s Private Member Bill On Fees Thrown Out 

Parliament yesterday voted against the private member bill which was presented by the Bawku Central MP, Mahama Ayariga, asking the President of Ghana to absorb fees of students in the public tertiary Education institutions for year 2021 academic year.

The House through voice voting which was put by the Rt Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin either for the adoption of the motion or otherwise, majority of the MPs voted NO, to get the motion rejected.
