Nana Agradaa Released After Eight Month Behind Bars.
Televangelist Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, known as Nana Agradaa, after spending eight months in prison is finally free after serving her time.
Her husband, Asiamah, announced her release through Facebook on Tuesday, March 3, and expressed his joy over the good news with a simple message that read, “Thank God my wife is finally home.”
Nana Agradaa is expected to make her first public appearance later today, where she will join members of her church for fellowship.
The Social media sensation on July 3, 2025 was sentenced to 15-year jail term after she was found guilty of defrauding by false pretense and promoting charlatic practices. However, her lawyers decided to appeal the court’s ruling, stating that the sentence was too harsh.
On February 5, 2026, the Amasaman High Court reviewed Nana Agradaa’s case and reduced her sentence to 12 months for counts two and three, stating that the original sentence was excessive.
Additionally, Nana Agradaa was fined 200 penalty units, which translates to 2,400 Ghanaian cedis, and ordered to refund 1,000 Ghanaian cedis to her two complainants.
Her release has been greeted with joy by her loved ones, who have welcomed her back with open arms.
