Applications are open for AMRLEP Leaders Program Cohort 5 for Students
ReAct Africa is inviting undergraduate tertiary students across Africa to apply for the Antimicrobial Resistance Leaders Program for Tertiary Students in Africa (AMRLEP).

The AMR Leaders Program for Tertiary Students in Africa is a hybrid capacity building program targeting tertiary level students in Africa to empower them and equip them with knowledge and skills that can effectively help them design sustainable interventions against AMR. The program will employ a systems approach and will involve; virtual lecturers, webinars, group discussions, interactive constructive sessions, and experiential learning. The program will run from February to May 2026. It is being implemented by ReAct Africa.
The program aims to:
- Promote understanding of AMR and its importance among tertiary-level students and their institutions.
- Increase meaningful youth participation in AMR advocacy initiatives by creating opportunities for participants to plan, contribute to and implement practical, context-specific activities that raise awareness and strengthen youth-led action against AMR.
- Strengthen youth voices and collaboration on AMR by connecting students from different disciplines and countries to share ideas and encourage action.
