C/R: Boy escaping beatings from Dad jumps from 3rd floor to death (Watch Video)

A 13-year-old boy Kabiru has met his untimely death at Cape Coast at Ayekoo Ayekoo after jumping from a third-floor storey building when trying to escape a merciless beating from his heartless father Lukman Amusah.

In an interview with Angel News reporter Kwame Owusu Asante Shadrack, the grandmother of the deceased Zenabu Adamu explained that Kabiru was crying and screaming in the Saturday dawn when his father was beating him and in the morning, trying to escape the beatings from his father but couldn’t get any place to pass and escape it than to jump from a third-floor storey building and died instantly.

The grandmother of the deceased stressed that the heartless behaviour from the father against the child started about five years ago and suspects the wife of the husband who is the suspect’s stepmother is behind the wrongful act since she always accuses Kabiru of doing bad things.

“Even a good samaritan saw him falling from the floor and rushed there to save him but unfortunately, couldn’t get there early before he landed, she cried.

Mrs Zenabu told Kwame Owusu Asante Shadrack in an interview that, Kabiru was rushed to Cape Coast Teaching Hospital but couldn’t survive.

The body has been deposited at Cape Coast Regional Hospital mortuary for preservation to pave way for autopsy whiles Mr Lukman and his wife is in Kotokuraba police custody pending investigations
