Viral Assault Video: Police Launch Manhunt for Suspect

The Ghana Police Service has commenced a manhunt for a man captured in a viral video assaulting a suspect.

In a viral video on social media, a man is seen dishing out a slap to a Pastor who is said to have condemned the Islamic Religion while streaming on TikTok live.

The slap landed on the cheeks of the Pastor, who was handcuffed after he was arrested for making some inciteful comments via social media.

The police in a statement released on Thursday, 13 August 2026 said Service strongly condemns the incident and has intensified efforts to arrest the suspect and put him before the court.
